Is Making Money From the Internet Really this Simple?
Chances are you’ve heard of or know of someone who has become filthy rich from the internet. Upon meeting internet millionaires, they seem just like you or I, yet they drive around in a flash car and live in a mansion. So what is the difference between them and us? I often hear people say to me “If making money online was simple everyone would be doing it!”. The truth is, making money from the internet is simple, but not necessarily easy. Our expectations when it comes to being successful are fueled by what appear to be overnight success stories. Google, facebook and twitter exploded onto the scene. The reality is it took at least 3 years hard work for all these companies to reach any level of success.
The easy part to setting up an online business is the lack of capital required to get started vs traditional business models. People can literally begin making money in 24 hours. However if you are seriously considering an on-line business of your own I would suggest you drastically lower your expectations during the start up phase.
How much Money Can I Expect to Make? Based on my experience (and backed up by my research) it takes at least 12 months to reach reasonably acceptable monthly income figures. Initial results will more than likely be disappointing and sometimes downright frustrating. But if you stick with it the rewards can be phenomenal. Take the following actual results as an example. There are many reasons but I feel the main reason is a lack of understanding. Many people approaching online businesses treat it as a traditional business model ie. Source a product or a service, find a shop (website), advertise (pay per click) and then sell your product.
The internet has driven the traditional business model almost out of existence (online). Whilst products are bought and sold on the internet most people use the web for information, entertainment and social networking. This is where traditional business models have fallen down.
The great news for anyone looking to set up an online business is that it has never been easier to make money online.
Affiliate Marketing – Is it Really the Easiest Way to Make Money Online? The most popular and easiest way to make money online is through affiliate programs. Organizations such as Amazon will pay you for any sales made from your recommendations. The great thing with Amazon is they now sell music, watches, cameras, books basically any product. Let’s say you have a site dedicated to cooking, you can recommend your favorite recipe books, write a review and have a link that will take your visitor straight to the check out. Becoming an actor.?
I am 15, turning 16 in 3 months and 12 days….
I know starting off early, and having that special thing when your acting really is an advantage, but how good are my chances to make it as a famous actor? I mean I am top of my drama class, I am really funny guy, I have a good personality, and most of all a good actor. I have never done any acting until this yea in grade 10, and my teacher was blown away. She wants to help me getting into a commercials, theatre, media…etc
I know no matter what people say, I WILL NEVVERRRR GIVE UP. You can cut my throat, torture me into not ruining and wasting my life to become a millionaire actor, I will refuse. I am not any other guy on the internet trying to look for some sympathy and a pat on the back, I am dead serious about how amazing I am. You never heard of me at all, and you might think I am just another actor wannabe or whatever, but I really want to know what are my chances.
I want to start a tv show, or maybe stare in a movie…
Make your dream the total focus of your life but do not neglect your school studies or family obligations.
Be prepared to invest several years of your life learning all you can to prepare yourself to be better than the competition. You will be up against thousands of stardom hopefuls. You must stand out with a strong resume of accomplishments.
I always say this – “Overnight success takes 10 to 15 years!”
When you examine the biographies of famous actors you will find a long struggle before stardom came.
Be realistic. Chase your dream with a plan. Do local theater, commercials, etc. Get as much experience as you can right now. It will pay off later.
